In the ancient kingdom of Jeju, there lived a wise and beautiful goddess named Jacheongbi. She was born with divine grace and intelligence, destined to become one of Korea’s most beloved heroines.
One day, Jacheongbi fell deeply in love with a mortal man named Munjeonjang. Despite their affection, the heavens forbade their union. When Munjeonjang was taken away by heavenly officials, Jacheongbi’s heart ached with sorrow—but her determination burned brighter than fate itself.
Defying the laws of the gods, she ascended to the heavens to reclaim her beloved. On her perilous journey, Jacheongbi overcame fierce trials—crossing rivers of fire, climbing mountains of blades, and outwitting divine guardians. Her courage and wit impressed even the celestial beings, and at last, she reunited with Munjeonjang.
